Split Black Urad Dal Minapa Rotti
. 2 cups Uncooked Rice/Raw Rice
. 1 cup Split Black Urad Dal
. 10 to 15 Curry Leaves
. 4 Green Chilles
. 2 inch Ginger
. 1/4 cup Sour Curd
. 1 tsp Jeera
. 3 cups Water
. few spoons Oil
. Salt to taste
.Dry Grind uncooked rice and split black urad to coarse rava like consistency.
.Make fine paste of chilles, ginger and curd.
.Now Mix this paste of chilles, ginger and curd to the coarse rava mix we made.
.Add water little by little to make a stiff batter.
.To the batter add salt and curry leaves.
.Let the better rest and ferment for 24hrs in warm place.
.Next day batter is ready to make Split Black Urad Dal Minapa Rotti.
.Mix the batter well before cooking.
1 Heat a heavy bottem pan or tawa to that add 2 spoons of oil. Spread as medium
or thick layer of batter.
2 Cover and cook for 5 to 8 mins on low flame.
3 Once you see golden brown crust form on bottom, add little oil and
Flip the Rotti to the other side
4 Cook on low flame again for 3 to 4 mins.
