Carob chip Cake


 

Ingredients
•½ C butter, softened
•1 C brown sugar
•1 Tsp vanilla essence
•2 C all purpose flour
•1 Tsp baking powder
•½ Tsp baking soda
•1 C thick yogurt
•½ C carob chips

•½ C butterscotch flavored morsels
Preparation
1.In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla.
2.Combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda; add to the creamed mixture alternately with the yogurt, beating well after each addition.
3.Spread half of the batter into a greased 9-in square baking pan. Sprinkle with carob chips and butterscotch morsels. Spread with the remaining batter.
4.Bake in a preheated oven at 350 F/180 C for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
