Thin Til ki Chikki


. 1/2 cup roasted sesame seeds with skin or unroasted polished white seeds
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp ghee or clarified butter
cardamom powder as per taste 1/2-1tsp
1. Grease the kitchens marble surface. 
2. In a pan melt Ghee on medium heat. Add sugar. Do not stir very often or else it will crystalize soon. Melt till all the sugar dissolves completely and no lumps are seen.
3. Immediatley put off the gas.Add cardamom powder and sesame seeds. Mix well.
4. Quickly pour it on the greased surface.
5. Roll the hot dough with a greased rolling pin till as thin as possible or to desired thickness.
6. While its warm, quickly use  a knife to  cut across desired shape or if it has cooled then  make pieces with a  metallic spatula as shown in the video.
7. Serve to the Lord and honor the mercy. Its yummy, crispy thin chikki.
8. Store in airtight containers.

Variation: Add 1/4 cup any roasted nuts and dry fruits( peanuts/ almonds/ cashew/raisins)

(Tip- Can add water in place of ghee to make it more harder)
