Best ever Carbo cake with carob frosting


•2 ½ cup flour
•¾ cup carob powder
•1¾ cup sugar
•2 tsp baking soda
•1 tsp salt
•1 ½ cup buttermilk
•1 cup oil
•1 ½ tsp vanilla
•4 ½ tsp egg replacer, mixed with 6 tbsp warm water
•8 oz cream cheese
•1 tbsp butter, softened
•2 cups powdered sugar
•½ cup carob power
•¼ tsp salt
•1 tsp vanilla
•2 tbsp milk
1.Grease 2 9” round cake pans.
2.Mix all dry ingredients in a big bowl with a spatula.
3.Mix all wet ingredients in a small bowl. Pour the wet mixture into the big bowl and mix well with a mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes.
4.Bake at 350 F oven for 30 minutes. Let cakes cool completely. Meanwhile, mix butter and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix them well.
5.To assemble the cake, place 1 cake layer on the plate; spread with 1/3 cup frosting. Top with second cake layer; spread top and side of cake with remaining cream. Garnish with carob chips, strawberries/raspberries, etc.
