Hot Spiced Tea

Ingredients:
• Water – 4 cups
• Cinnamon stick – one 6cm
• Green cardamom pods – 10
• Whole cloves – 10
• Milk – 1¼ cups
• Sugar, – 2½ tbsp or as required
• Rooibos tea – 6 tsp
Preparation:
1. Bring to the boil the water, along with the cinnamon, cardamom and cloves, in a medium saucepan over full heat. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Add the milk and sugar, return to the boil, drop in the Rooibos tea, remove from the heat, cover and set aside for 2 minutes.
3. Strain and serve immediately.
