Jackfruits
The jackfruit is a species of Artocarpus genus of the mulberry family. It is a huge, spined, oval shape fruits. It can weigh up to 80 pounds (36.29 kg) and be up to 3 feet (.91 m) long. It cantain numerous of seeds which can be roasted and are compared to chestnuts in flavor. The exterior of the fruit is not edible, but the flesh and seeds are commonly eaten. Jackfruit contains many vitamins and minerals, and offers numerous health benefits. Ripe jackfruit is naturally sweet with subtle flavouring.
