Semolina is also known as Rava or Cream of Wheat. It is a product of wheat milling. Semolina is off-white or yellow in color and resembles coarse sand in texture. Semolina is between 0.25 and 0.75 mm in diamete. It can also be used in hot breakfast, cereals, pasta production, desserts, artisan breads and cookies. Semolina contain no fat or cholesterol and is very low in sodium.
