Carob Brownies

Carob Brownies


 

Ingredients
• Butter (1 stick) – 1/2 cup 
• Yogurt or sour cream – 4-6 heaping tsp
• Vanilla – 1 tsp
• Milk – 1/2 cup  
• Carob powder – 3/4 cup 
• Salt – 1/4 tsp 
• Sugar – 2 cups 
• Flour – 1 cup
• Chopped pecans or walnuts  – 1 cup 
 
Preparation
(Preheat oven 350 degrees)
1. Melt the butter. Mix in the yogurt, milk and vanilla.
2. Combine the dry ingredients.
3. Mix dry ingredients into the butter mixture.
4. Bake in a 9×9" pan lined with foil and greased with a little ghee. Bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove foil and cut when a little cool.
