Peach Cobbler
Ingredients:
• All purpose flour – 1 cup
• Brown sugar – 1/2 cup
• White sugar – 1/2 cup
• Baking powder – 2 tsp
• Salt – 1/2 tsp
• Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
• Milk – 3/4 cup
• Margarine, melted – 1/2 cup
• Sliced canned peaches, drained – 1 (29 ounce) can
• Ground cinnamon – 1 tsp
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugars, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Pour milk into dry ingredients and then stir in melted margarine. Mix thoroughly.
3. Pour mixture into a 9×13 inch baking pan. Arrange peaches on top and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Note: I changed a few things after reading the reviews of this recipe. I doubled the fruit and then sprinkled cinnamon sugar on top before baking. Don't forget to serve it with vanilla ice cream!
